What I wore... In Paris!

Good afternoon lovely people,
Hope youre all keeping well.

Apologies for the lack of posts since Paris at the end of March, but just after that weekend, myself and Trevor moved in together. Yay!
Things have been busy and spending plenty of time transitioning, but loving every minute.

So, as promised at the beginning of April, heres what i wore in Paris for my birthday weekend.

I really think this was the best packing I have ever done (being known as a serial 'over-packer') and I wore everything I brought.
I love to plan trips ahead of time, day-by-day so this really helped me in my packing as i knew what we would be doing, therefore could bring suitable clothing/ shoes for each day!

So, here we go:

Day One; Travelling
For travelling over to Paris, I decided on something comfortable but still wanted to be parisien, so naturally I opted for Breton stripes!
Dress: New Look
Boots: New Look
Blazer: River Island
Scarf: Penneys

And of course, what else would you do arriving in a stunning Paris hotel, only jump on the bed!

Once we arrived to our hotel after having a lovely glass of wine and beer on the side of the street, right in front of Paris Opera House, we settled in, dropped our bags and headed out to the Galeries Lafayette where youre surrounded by designer names and keen shoppers. It was amazing!

Day Two; Sacre Cour and Eiffel Tower
We heard that the views from the Sacre Cour were the most beautiful in the city, and it was true. We decided there was no better time to visit than at sunrise. We got up extra early (4.45am to be exact), threw on some clothes and headed up the hill on the 25minute walk to the Sacre Cour. It was a chilly morning and i was glad i brought my coat and scarf!
Runners: Nike
Jeggings: Vero Moda
Tshirt: Penneys
Scarf: Penneys
Coat: Penneys

We strolled back down the hill just as the businesses were opening and deliveries of fresh fruit, veg and fish were being made. It was such a lovely time to see the city. Definatly reccommend it!
We headed back to the hotel and had a lovely big breakfast before heading for a nap after our early morning.

We showered and changed, and headed back out in search of the Eiffel Tower. We headed to the Arc de Triomphe firsly and then the eiffel tower. We got a little lost in the city this day but didnt mind at all, it was stunning and a lovely warm day!
We bought matching outifts especially for the 'eiffel tower' visit. Arent we cool?

Jeggings: vero Moda
Pumps: Penneys
Vest top/ Stripes top: Penneys
Blazer: River Island
Trevs Tshirt: Penneys

After all our walking, we were exhausted so another nap was on the cards before dinner. We fell asleep for hours, and most places were closed near where we were staying by the time we woke up so we walked up towards the Moulin Rouge area which was buzzing. We had some delicious food in a diner and watched the fun outside. The area is a little rough at night time so be careful of your belongings and try get taxis where you can!

Day Three; Louvre, Ponts des Arts, Notre Dame, Eiffel tower at midnight.
On a full belly, we set off for the day to the Louvre. We spent quite some time here but were concious of fitting everything in so didnt get to visit the gardens just beside the Louvre (tuileries garden) which i really wanted to see. Any excuse to visit again!
After the Louvre, we walked along the Seine to the Pont des Arts, or Love lock bridge as its known. We had our caricature drawn on the bridge and although it cost €25, it was fun and we'll have the picture always.
After locking our love-lock onto the bridge, we headed towards Notre Dame. The ques for it was insane, about 2 hours long so we decieded photos from the bottom were enough!
Boots: New Look
Skort: Penneys
Tshirt: New Look
Blazer: River Island
We headed for dinner in the hotel followed by coctails, and then changed back into our casual clothes to head to see the light show at the Eiffel Tower. A really special way to finish off our Paris trip before our flight the next morning.
To dinner i wore this roayl blue dress from New Look, its an office style, sort of 50's mad men dress.
Lastly, what I wore to the Eiffel tower light show. Jeggings, Coat, Tshirt and pumps, all Penneys.

We had an amazing time and will definatly visit again.
Its been lovely to relive the fab time we had a look back at all these pictures!

Stay tuned for more blog posts soon.
Much love,
Conni
xoxo
